I found a nice little clip on the NPR site today that the last of the original Bruce's is in a junkyard and that got me looking into Jaws and I saw some info that someone might re do it.
This site speaks to exactly why it could never work( which I believe ) let classics be and just re release them in the theatre for like a week. Groups of people could react together ( and little kids could get scared of the giant shark all over again)
