    Favourite X-Files episodes?

    What are your favourites?

Mine are the Charles Nelson Reilly Jose Chung's From Outer Space ep, the one with the cockroaches, and the freak episode with Jim Rose's Circus Sideshow.

    In no particular order:

    "Home" (the inbred killers)
"Bad Blood" (He said/ she said vampire fiasco)
    "
Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" (where we learn Mulder will die ala John Carradine)
"Hollywood DA" (Gary Shandling plays Fox Mulder in a movie, Scully teaches Tea Leoni to run in 3 inch heels)
    "Our Town" (Cannibals and Chicken)
"Quagmire" (Big Blue ep where Scully's dog gets eaten by an lake monster)

    -----------------------
"humbug" is the episode in Gibsontown, FL with the freaks.
    "
War of the Coprohaghes" is the roach one.
    ------------------------

I was a big X-Files fan at one time.

"Home" scared the beejeezus out of me, mostly because the family 2 houses down was very similar. I am not even joking.

In additon to those already mentioned I liked

        "Squeeze"
        "Eve"

        and....

I don't remember the episode names
The one where Deep Throat gets shot
The first one with the black oil

I was a big fan too, but stopped watching soon after Mulder left the show. I actually don't even know how the series ended.

The COPS episode, the one with the creepy Amish guy that could change sex, and the circus one with the Enigma & the detachable "little brother".

I loved the one where the guy could change his face to look like someone else.... and he impregnates 5 or 6 women in town and all the babies have tails.

            Small Potatoes

            Season 1 - 4 were so great!

              Toooooo many to list!!!
Call me sick and wrong but I even enjoyed both films.

Funny thing is I watched it regularly for the first couple seasons but for the life of me I can't really recall very many specific episodes, just bits and pieces.
A few I recall are the one that kind of mirrored Mayberry/Andy Griffith.
One with a buried boxcar full of dead aliens in the desert.
Wasn't there also one that looked like it took place in the Brady Bunch house?
There was also one with Lenny (of Lenny & Squiggy fame) (Michael McKean?) and I think he took over Mulder's body or something or switched minds?

I forgot about the Brady bunch episode...that was after Mulder left. The guy made himself be Cousin Oliver right?

The first five or six seasons...The X Files was one of the GREATEST shows EVER on television.

But after David Duchovny left in the last two or three years...it really sucked...which I kinda think hurt its legacy a bit.

I did like the first movie...but the second one..."I Want To Believe"...was pure garbage.

There are too many faves...but the one episode that stands out for me...because it's so creepy and disgusting...is the one about the freak incestuous family...where the two deformed brothers...take turns sleeping with their mother (who refers to them as "my boys")...who is limbless...and kept under the bed...

My favorite one i cant remember the name of the episode (hope wyldpny can help), but its the one of a guy obsessed with washing hair of his victims before killing them and turns out he's a shape shifter as Scully is about to be his next victim and right before her eyes,..he starts "changing"....scary!

The Charles Nelson Reilly show sticks in my memory, which is failing me. I've forgotten so much. I loved that show, be nice to catch up with it.

                              Scully.
