    Tardis

I know we have some Doctor Who fans here. How many different "things" have you seen the Doctor's TARDIS look like? It is supposed to have the power to blend in with it's surroundings. What have you seen it change into? His wasn't the only TARDIS on the show. I'm just asking about the Doctor's ship. Has it always been a blue Police call box?

It changes into a pipe organ in the same episode.

Yeah; but the Doctor's has been broken since the beginning of the series.

He fixed it. Watch "Attack of the Cybermen". It has him fix it and use it.

one thing I liked in the 2005 sereis was how eccelston points out that even though it was completely out of place on Rose's street everyone just ignored it.

in attack Perry makes jokes about the forms it takes and Colin said "she hasn't done it for a while" I assume that he could enable the chamelon cicruit again but he no longer cares to blend (hence why he doesn't alter his wardrobe to fit the place as he did in the hartnell era)

One thing I don't like is many times the new series portrays young people as completely oblivious as to what a Police Box is.

If Police Boxes were as common in England as the show suggests most young people should know what they are even if they've never seen one in person... Just like young people know what a phone booth is but most have never seen one.

actually even by the mid 80's police boxes were as uncommon as a phone booth is today. When JNT took over he wanted to dump the police box shape because kids were referring to the shape as a TARDIS not a police box (on Dr Who at the bbc VOL3, JNT recounts the story) he abandoned the plan when he got letters from kids stating their parents had explained it to them. SO... add on 30 years and I can easily see them being a forgotten thing except for maybe a museum. To quote Tegan in Time Flight "policeboxes went out with Flower Power" which means by the current show it's been as much as 50 years since they were common in the cities.

The Masters also turned into a Concord jet. Don't forget the Concord. It was huge. It was in the episode "Time-Flight".

I think Roger Delgado turned his into a spaceship ... I think in Colony In Space.

The Meddling Monk turned his into a sarcophagus

I think AA turned his into an Iron Maiden ... I forgot what episode ... could have been The King's Demons
