I hope the next film will be with the Hulkbuster suit and with The Hulk!

Saw it for the first time today and LOVED IT! Great movie and I thought they moved the original storyline along just fine. I appreciated the fact they focused heavily on story and character development and not just 'action moments'. But I will say the finale was a big payoff and I was impressed! Can't wait to get this on DVD.

Sam Rockwell plays the part well. He's like the mirror opposite of Tony Stark; Totally uncool, non-hip, and skeevy as all get-out. Did you guys notice his tan? That was funny.

Gary Shandling plays his character fairly straight. It's Scott Rockwell that would be the one bringing the funny, but I think he does a good job with his stuffed shirt comic relief bits in contrast with the deadly serious Micky Rourke. I generally really like Scott Rockwell though (he was the standout in Galaxy Quest IMHO).

Great chemistry between Tony and Pepper. Particularly when they start bickering while he's fighting the drones. I would really love to see her get her Rescue armour in a subsequent film.

    I enjoyed it.

While it could be said that Shandling spoils everything this is no big give away considering his apppearance in the trailers

I saw it today. I would go back right now and see it. I thought it kept the same tone and humor. Further character development and great action.

They packed A LOT into it, but I felt it all came together in the end.

I have no idea where the negative backlash is coming from.
Been a long time since I saw the theaters so packed, so it doesn't seem like the nay sayers are getting to people.
I'm a naysayer I guess...but I'm not looking to keep people from the theatre I'm just not an avid of the franchise from the start.
If its a hit that most enjoyed...bless 'em.

Thanks for the answer to my "silly" question...heck, I thought Garry Shandling was the best part of the movie...silly or not silly

I really enjoyed it. Almost went to see it a second time. Not silly at all. Sure Nick Fury wasn't hard boiled, but I actually paid good money to see Captain America & Masters of the Universe.
The complainers seem to be real whiners. I watched the Dr Strange TV show and the IM2 movie was lightyears better. Reminded me of a comicbook character study.

    Can't wait for more
