Anybody remember the NEW Fantasy Island starring Malcolm McDowel as Mr Roarke ?

I liked it and was kind of p-ssed when it got cancelled so soon.

I hate when shows build and interesting storyline and then suddenly they're cancelled and gone.

What was Mr Roarke ? ... a human ? ... an alein ? ... God ???

It wasn't a bad attempt to reimagine the series actually, just didn't get the ratings.

I personally love the old show, it's such a guilty pleasure.

I only watched 1 or 2 eps but really wasn't to impressed.....the reimagined Roarke was creepy though

I thought it was pretty good,they went with more of a spookier or sometimes evil outcome in the end.

BTW Mr Rourke was the MIB from lost, it actually took place on Hydra Island

I don't recall the FI remake.
The original FI always seemed to me kind of like what would happen if the Love Boat met the Twilight Zone.
