Weird Dr Who question

So;

In the FIRST version of "The Unearthly Child" there's a round sticker on the right door of the TARDIS. But in the later version of the same episode.... and most others, it's gone. BUT; with the NEW Doctor it's back. So.... what is it, and where does it keep going?

It's a St John Ambulance sticker

Not sure why it got gone

I guess it came back if the Doctor re-booted the TARDIS in the 11th hour.

The inside doesn't make me think that happened though
