I'm really excited about the return of Futurama.

It's amazing that a canceled series like this can attain enough of a cult status to come back like this time and again.

There was some talk about recasting the voice characters, for a short time. But within no time Fox announced that the original cast would be back. I've enjoyed the direct to video movies so far, but having the series back is what I've wanted for so many years. Now I find out it's two days before my birthday.

I know [adult swim] was saying if they couldn't get everything taken care of with the voice actors,they wanted to take it back and get everything solved.

The movies really dampened my spirits for Futurama, I'm really hoping that the return to the half hour format is what it needs.

I actually kind of liked the movies. Not the best things on earth but enjoyable. Hopefully these seasons will come out on DVD, too. (still don't have cable).
