Favorite Dr. Who title sequence?

Personally my favorite sequence is the Third Doctor's second sequence (star tunnel. It was introduced in 1974, Pertwee's last year.

Tom Baker's first sequence has left a lasting impact on me, it's just a fantastic opening intro. I also love the current one with the Tardis travelling through the vortex. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next as it's been revamped for Matt Smith's Doctor.

I love the time tunnel from the pre JNT era tom baker. Maybe becuase it was my first intro to the show (even though Pertwee is my favorite)

the new time tunnel is a nice evolution of that sequence but at times it can make me feel a little seasick when the votex is rotatiating

My favorite would be the classic Tom Baker opening.

I love Pertwee's last season opening but it's major flaw is having Jon himself sliding down the vortex rather than the TARDIS

For a guilty pleasure, I kinda like Sly McCoy's opening music.

Agreed... I hated the whole cheesy 'starscape' intro for Baker's last year and bulk of the 80s. Seemed to cheapen the show's look, thanks to JNT.

I don't dislike the starscape for Davison and Colin or even the reworked theme of the early 80's but they couldn't have chosen a less appealing photo of Tom if they tried
