Havent watched this but I hope Lucas gets jail time for killing Star Wars with those lame prequels.

Yes, he made some crappy movies - a lot of people get old and loose their edge - if you really believe that he "ruined your childhood" I can guarantee that you are very very wrong about what's really holding you back in life.
I agree totally. Hobbies have there place but nothing takes the place of reality. Besides I've been relating Lucas to the word greed in my mind for several years now. This movie seems to be worth a look.

I, for one, like the diehard Star Wars fans. They make trekkers seem totally normal in comparison.

I mean, I thought Phanton Menace was pretty bad too, but I didn't lose any sleep over it. You've got the George Lucas ruined my childhood group on one side and the George Lucas is a godlike visionary on the other. Sure, the fringe Trek fans can get maybe a weensy bit out there, but the SW diehards take it to a whole other level of unhealthy obsessive love/hate nuttiness.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Funny stuff! I gotta see that... self rightous Fanboys (no offense here as I consider myself a Fanboy) greiving the loss of their Childhood franchise. "George Lucas Raped my Childhood"

While I didn't care for the prequels... my daughter loves them and the Clone Wars toon (which I too have to admitt is cool ), she sees them as seamless... Even if I don't. That's powerful stuff! An 8 year old girl in 2010 knows who Darth Vader is? and more importantly; cares!

              Gotta Respect the Lucas....

Paul Dini did George's voice. I think I read somewhere he said it was kind of a payback for all of the grief he's got over the Ewoks cartoon.

The only reason I see for SW geeks being worse than ST geeks
is that SW was more successful...it's a proportions thing.
