Heck, I already set the DVR for it last week!
It better be good. This whole season has been awesome so far. One of the best seasons ever.

Like I said elsewhere, they won me back. I would agree this is the best season of Smallville in quite some time. Maybe since season 2 (the early peak).

The eye candy alone should keep us all happy.

Super heroes in COSTUMES. A first for Smallville.

Hawkman's first live action appearance since the "Legends of the Super Heroes" specials (if you don't count that crazy Baby Ruth commercial from the 90s).

First ever live Doctor Fate (and apparently Wes Dodds Sandman, and maybe one other JSAer).

Plus Stargirl! With the right cosmic staff even!

Set to record on my DVR. Love Smallville. I will mourn it's passing when it ends after the tenth season next year. It's been one of the best comic adaptations ever made for television. I'm just one of those people in the minority though that wished Clark and Lana could have worked it out.

Is that a "for sure" that it's ending after next season or a rumor? I hadn't heard that.
I agree that i always wanted Clark and Lana to get together (even in the comics), too but Clark is fated to be with Lois even in the Smallville universe continuity.
I do think they could've at least gave Clark and Lana a few seasons of happiness being a couple though instead of all the on & off crap that got a little annoying after awhile.

PS: anyone been catching Lana's (Kristen Kreuk's) stint on Chuck currently?

if you're going to choose between these, choose the one where the writer wants to work in continuity not inspite of it. choose JSA!

Yeah, Kristen looks great in Chuck. I actually met a couple of the writers for Smallville two years ago and tossed an idea for bringing Clark and Lana back together. One of the affiliates from the CW was in there and loved the idea but the writers hated Lana, so there was no happy ending to be had. My idea was to have this series end with Clark fighting Zod in outer space. The two enter earth's atmosphere and plunge towards the ground. Clark has mysteriously lost his ability to fly. Who saves him? Superman. When Superman places him on the ground he see's Lois who is suddenly infatuated with him but he doesn't understand why. He later teams up with Superman to help defeat Zod and Superman returns him to his alternate universe...on Earth 2... where Smallville has taken place all along. Lana is there to greet him and he and Lana walk off together in their universe while Superman and Lois go off in theirs. I thought it was a neat idea and the writers did like the curve ball aspect to it, but they already knew her fate. *Sigh* oh well...

Please guys, no Lana. Not really Kreuk's fault, but as written, Lana was a self-absorbed train wreck. The writers were constantly trying to figure out how to shoehorn her screen time in, and most of the time it stopped the plot dead in its track. Her return last season derailed the whole year.

Well, I watched it, and I liked it! Yeah, the climax was a bit too quick, but it hit all the right nerd beats. For a television budget it was well done (although Hawkman's flying looked clunky, but then again they don't have X3's Angel effects budget). I really dug Dr. Fate. Lots of great hints, teases, and that quick reveal of a certain detective was way cool.

                        Well worth the wait.

I really enjoyed this one. Like Chris said, lots of geeky-ness for us. One of their best for sure. I really liked Carter's museum. I hope some of the other JSA aprrear latter on somewhere.

What an awesome episode. I was constantly explaining the backgrounds and fanboy hidden references throughout the episode. How awesome would a spin off series be?
