The Twilight Zone has paid off big time for me. It's probably the best show ever made. I'm going to the same college Serling attended.( I'm going for Education though)

One new years day this year I met my wonderful girlfriend because of Twilight Zone. I was visiting a friend who works at the laundrymat and she was on my case about getting married. I said " I'm picky I only like gwomen like . . " and I looked around the Laundry mat and saw a beautiful brunette sitting on a bench watching TV. " HER!"

Since she was so pretty I would NEVER imagine talking to her.

But . . .Twilight Zone was on the TV. It was Telly Savalas in teh Talking Tina episode. My inner geek overpowered my shyness and I started talking to the girl !

I had to get the series on DVD! Along with The Outer Limits...

Too many great ones to chose as a favourite, but the most memorable for me as a boy was "He's Alive!" with Dennis Hopper playing a neo-nazi mentored by Adolf Hitler. Great Stuff!

I recently picked up Season One of One Step Beyond, and I understand that Boris Karloff's Thriller is being released this year. Those horror/sci-fi anthologies from the 1960's are great!

I've just started my TZ marathon.
          Two episodes per day.

These stories are still so fresh. They have something to say.
Before the age when TV series needed to be all "running and shooting, a thrill a minute".

They were intelligent, and Serling actually had a message.
Whenever I watch one, I feel like I'm in that magical land, where everything can happen.

I picked up season one just last month, and I'm buying another season this month. Should keep me busy for a while.
          .
          .
