FUNNIEST TREK MOMENT? What say you?

Yeah---I hear ya on that. There's something about Kelley's demeanor tho'
that is just stratospheric compared to the other cast members---
many say that Shat carried the franchise...which is understandable---
but Kelley's portrayal of McCoy is just the best of the fanchise for
me and I'm not even a TOS fan first (you know me I'm a TNG guy).

I think a best funny moments in Trek thread would be a good idea
----instead of bumping this thread again...so I'm just going to
cut and paste this to a new thread!
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

THIS WAS MY ORIGINAL POST THAT MIKE REPLIED TO IN
    THE JJ ABRAMS THREAD:

I have one more thing I want to say, in this, the latest TREK thread
to touch upon the whole series of movies...

Not only do I love THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY, and not only is it possibly
the best of all the Trek films, but, I'm convinced thatr the funniest
moment in Trek history occurs in this movie.

General Chang: [prosecuting] Doctor McCoy. What is
    your current medical status?

McCoy: Well, aside from a touch of arthritis, I'd say pretty good.

[some scattered laughter from the audience; McCoy smiles, but sees
    Chang, unsmiling]
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

The scene in Insurrection where Troi and Crusher are talking about thier boobs firming up and Data repeats it.

( It was not written into the novelization for some reason.)

Data dancing with the big grin with the holodeck cutie after Crusher does her "dancing Doctor " lesson.

Spock freaking out the androids with his " I hate you , I love you" lines in Mudds planet.

Kirk making out with the alien chick in ST 6 and McCoy FINALLY saying " What is it with you anyway?"

McCoy and Scotty in the factory in ST4 and McCoys SMILE after Scotty says "How do we know he didnt invent the thing?"

          Best one?

When Jeffery Combs walks into the holosuite on Deep Space Nine and see Major Kiras body with Quarks face.

There is a bit in Space Seed where DeForest Kelly knocks his phaser off of his belt and is unsure as to whether or not the scene is going to continue filming. He is trying to keep his composure, but his eyes keep darting to the prop lying on the floor a few feet away. Cracks me up every time I see it.

One of Kelley's lines that cracks me up is in ST III, when Kirk tells him he's suffering from a Vulcan Mind Meld and he says "That green-blooded son of a ******, It's his revenge for all of those arguments he lost."
              It's all good!

The whole of Star Trek 5.
                Really. That movie is hilarious.
And not in a good way....
                .

Scotty picking up and talking into the mouse on the Macintosh saying "Hello Computer" on STIV

Spock telling Kirk that he is a good starship captain but a lousy driver in the classic "A Piece of the Action"

In the latest movie where Spock says to Kirk "out of the chair", the delivery of that line had me in stitches.

Also the moment in The Undiscovered Country where they think they have found the crewman whose dumped his boots; Chekov (smugly): Perhaps you have heard Russian epic of Cinderella? If shoe fits, wear it! Only to find out that the crewman isn't human.

De Forest Kelly always had the best lines...especially the "I'm a doctor,not......."
His best one had to be "I'm a doctor..not an escalator"
                      "Thats the ticket laddie"
