It's been so long since I saw this ...
I Just finished Watching it ..., Man,.. I really forgot some scene's.., and pretty much Laughed My Arse off at a couple of them.

Mel Brooks is a genius

I'm thinking that in the special features on my copy, Mel Brooks mentions that he talked to George Lucas beforehand to make sure he was cool with Brooks parodying "Star Wars". Lucas gave his blessing, but with one catch: Mel Brooks couldn't have *any* merchandising based on "Spaceballs". Hence, no official "Spaceballs" action figures, lunch boxes, or flamethrowers

I haven't seen this in ages, but my and my pals used to wear it out on a weekly basis. I still catch myself saying some lines from it from time to time. It's no Blazing Saddles or Young Frankestein, but it's good stuff.
