Definitely Original Galactica uniforms rank the HIGHEST for me.

Followed by 1999 uniforms (either 1st or 2nd year..), and liked the flight uniforms in 'Land of the Giants' (not space uniforms per se.., I know).

Orginal Trek and Galactica are my favorites.

Thomas thanks for the flash back I had almost erased Zardoz from my memroy banks!!!

GALACTICA 1978.....The blasters were super cool, and the suede jackets just made me want to be a Colonial Pilot...I couldn't wait for them to reach earth so I could join up.

Who had the coolest gun/laser/ Blaster?
          My votes...

          Han Solo's Blaster
          BSG original
V....they were so cool I made one out of wood....

            Green slime:

I have the poster and like the fact that the suit has great emphasis on her (exposed) cleavage, and not on the fact that a space suit with a big hole in it is not the best of ideas....
Not to mention no air supply tank.

In space, it's all about looking good....

Who here thinks that Star Trek's Star Fleet changed their uniforms far too often. I think storwise they used the STII uniforms in some form for decades ,but since then a new suit every few years.

                >Who had the coolest gun/laser/ Blaster?

The laser pistols from "Ulysses 31." You could flip a switch and an energy sword would pop out the top.

That's a toughie. Properly, as a superscience setting you'd think at a certain point they'd perfect the design and that'd be it.... BUT as a large, multicultural entity that was adding new members all the time you could see a lot of social conventions (like fashion) changing pretty quickly under new influences. (Especially since replicators make a new wardrobe an easy thing to achieve.)

I wonder why after The Cage they never wore away team jackets again.
The Star Trek uniforms kept moving more and more towards black and grey . I didnt like that.

Off the top of my head I liked quite a few guns. Pulse rifle from Aliens, Ape Pistol from POTA, Blade runner, the good guys pistol from Dune.

But as far as hard core space pistol I just can't think of anything that tops the original series Phaser. ( NOT the flashlight Chris Pike one )

They wore big field jackets in Star Trek II. I've always wondered why the original series movie security guards wore armor but by the time of the next generation that had been dropped. That seems like a step back.

Remember, they also wore coats in ST-TMP. Those tan outer coats (to me) was a nice 'later hommage' of the original Cage outfits.. When I had my Mego 12" Spock, I was hoping to get a nice pattern for making the coat to spruce up my Spock.

I always did like the uniforms in ST-TMP as well, but Spock's and Kirk's short sleeve outfit were the best.
