I disagree Mikey. Tho I feel 1 of them was possibly a man and not a woman. Besides didn't one person already post here quoting the former producer as saying the woman was indeed the Doctor's Mother. If it was Susan they could have got the original actress to play Susan.

I am sure this will not be addressed in the show's future continuity. Doesn't this 2-parter put the final nail in the Time Lord's coffin once and for all? There doesn't seem to be any coming back for Gallifrey now.

I can't remember people from last week.

Plus he was in the shadows whilst talking to her, probably to avoid that very problem.

yeah, the " sisters of Karn ".

In the novel of the Brain of Morbius, it states that the elixir used to restore sarahs sight was supplied to the Timelords to give them their regenerative abilities.

They'll find a way to bring them back. Some how writers always do.

Yeah nothing is ever off limits. Especially in a show about time travel.

I really hated to see Tennant go. I rate him with Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee as Doctors go. The 10th Doc's final moments were some of the saddest I've seen in a long time, he fought for his existence to the very end. Matt Smith has some big shoes to fill.

I enjoyed the finale for what it was, loop holes and all. I have never been a huge Dr Who fan but I did watch it when i foun d it on TV as a kid and did watch the newer series when I came across them on Sci fi. I will definately give the new Dr a watch and see how it goes

I think the new guy will be ok just so long as he doesn't try and be a Tennant clone.

It's ok for new Doctors to pick and choose some of their personality traits from former Doctors just as long as it's not from their previous Doctor.

If I had my choice, i'd like to see some Troughtonesque mannerisims.
We haven't had a Doctor borrow from Troughton since McCoy.

I always liked Baker and Pertwee the best. Don't think I ever watched a McCoy episode.

Mccoy is actually a brilliant Doctor but he is severly handcuffed by Jon Nathan turner production choices in scripts. it isn't till his second season he gets into stride

McCoy is definitely doing Colin Baker's last season in his first, the show gets cooking with the Ace relationship and the portrayal of the 7th Doctor as a master manipulator.

if that's true (and I'm not sure it is since there was almost a year break on both ends of trial of the timelord plus the "lost scripts" for the Baker era (originally released as novels and now BF audios) It's too bad but most of the stories are so bad I can't imagine Colin bringing them up any. Paradise towers, adn Delta and the bannerman are particulrly dreadful (and they are 3 parters)

I didn't mind Paradise Towers ... Yes it's truly horrible with a lousy juvenile story that don't make sense at times and 2-dimensional characters but there's something about it that makes it enjoyable or at least watchable for me...
I think because it's far less boring than many episodes considered good or great by many fans.

I think that, when I look at all the doctors, I'm most fond of the Troughton/McCoy style. As Ace would say: The Professor.

I wish McCoy, much like Colin Baker, would have had more luck with the stories he got (and the lack of budget connected to that, too).
History seems to repeat itself: JNT, like RTD, started out well, and then seemed intent on "doing it his way", even if that was not to the benefit of the show.
                              .
                              .
                              .

I sounded like I was speaking with some of knowledge, I wasn't. I just felt that McCoy's first season felt a lot like some of Bakers, cartoony villains, gore and an annoying assistant.

I only got interested when Ace joined and the Seventh Doctor's personality kicked in, he will always be one of my faves.
