Great costume! It covers basically everything and it makes me look slimmer. Wondering if I need to make the skirt shorter...?

Unbelievably, I can't find silver pantyhose...so I just splurged and bought some silver body paint and spray. Only bummer is it's already breezy enough with the notch cut out on the front of the skirt...

I've started my outfit. My husband wanted to know why I was so sparkly (I was trying on the silver top I had just sewn together.) I had to remind him that I was working on my outfit for the convention in January...and that if I couldn't finish it in time, for him to be prepared to see Uhura again.

I know he prefers Uhura over Zira, even though he doesn't say anything.

Of all the nasty things in Star Trek SOMETHING has to be appealing.

In that case -- Jess, you need to go with the M-113 creature (the Salt Vampire):

1) The suit's not at all revealing
2) No better, uglier, or more frightening monster design in TOS
3) Really, a monster that's an old girlfriend who's returned to suck the life from you and your friends while pretending to be something she's not -- what's scarier?
