I ran a toy dept in a local department store and they bought tons of that Captain Power stuff. There were ships stacked to the ceiling on the top gondola shelves. But locally it turned out the show ran at like 8:00 am on Sunday morning, so nobody ever saw it. They clearanced that stuff forever- I think at one point the ships were a dollar and the figures were a quarter and even then nobody would buy 'em. Surprisingly though, it's not something I come across all that much at flea markets or yard sales.
Interestingly (to me at least), Tim Dunigan who played Captain Power also starred as Davy Crockett for a short-lived TV revival by Disney, and was the original choice for Faceman in the A-Team. Dirk Benedict replaced him because he looked to young to be a Vietnam War vet.
