only watched two episodes of mst: danger diabolik and the girl in gold boots but both were pretty funny. not sure diabolik was bad enough of a film to deserve a roosting but the more people who can see obscure movies the better.

Sometimes it's not so much that they're bad but they're weird. I love Diabolik to pieces but really enjoyed it's send up.

I really gotta get a proxy thingy going so I can start watching this damn Hulu thing in Canada. MST3K will give me a little extra incentive.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I would really rather watch the actual movie than listen to the snide comments throughout the picture. These guys remind me of those annoying folks in the theatre you just want to shut up.

I remember when I first watched MST3K and I thought "Hell, me and my buddy have been doing this for years!" (while watching movies at home, never in the theatre)

Proxy thing? Does that work? Is it a browser plugin or something?

I haven't seen the MST3K version. It's the end of the series, isn't it?

Yes. Some of them movies are UNWATCHABLE without commentary. (I'm looking at YOU: "Manos, the Hands of Fate.") Some are fine in their original form too; but I'm watching MST3K specificly for the comments.

My dad complained about the talking over the movie. Most if not all the movies deserve the merciless punishment heaped upon them by MST.

You don't want to watch a movie at my house! I do that all the time to movies good and bad. Most of the time I have my wife in tears of laughter. But if it is one of her chick flicks, she shuts me up. I don't do it in movie theaters, however.

Yeah, it's really well done. I love the film but it's arty and strange, so there is lot ot jibber jabber about.

I consider myself a champion of the awful movie in that I can endure almost anything. I love Doris Whishman and Larry Buchanan movies more than Oscar winners but even I couldn't have withstood the Coleman Francis films without the help of those three heads.

I'm pretty much the same, my kids can't stand it.

                            I'm weird ....

I love MST3K but I can't stand the interludes before and after the movie.

I just like watching the movie itself with the talk-over.

I always treat the interludes as commercials and turn the channel until the movie comes back on.

^^^ Love TV's Frank and Dr. F. When they moved on the show really lost something.
