Unaltered Star Wars theatrical version returning to theaters in 2027.

Yeah, that's great. It's about time. Honestly it should have never taken this long and the unaltered versions should have never been removed.

It's Official: The Original Theatrical Cut of 'Star Wars' Is Coming Back to Theaters
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

In my opinion, the only good movie from the franchise.

I'm on board with this for sure, and will 100% see it in the theater.

Yeah BF and I will be there watching Star Wars. I was one of those lucky kids who was at the theater when this first came out so I will be back watching it again.

I was one of the lucky kids that got dropped off to wait in line for four hours the second day it was out. It was well worth the wait. It was my favorite movie for a few years. I'm not sure what everyone else was doing while my brother and I waited in line. The theater I watched it at had it longer than any other theater in the US. It might have set the world record, but I know it set the US record for showing it for 76 weeks. I googled it and I'm sure that was the world record.
