New Stargate series (not a reboot) coming to Prime

Producers just announced that a new Stargate series building on the original is headed to Prime.

My wife is a huge fan of this franchise.

I'm very excited about this being a continuation instead of a reboot. From the original movie to the various TV incarnations, I've always found this franchise to be quintessential "comfort viewing"..... and I mean that as a high compliment.

I will try and watch it but being on Prime I my wait till season One is done and then bingewatch the season.

Could not agree more!!

SG-1 is definitely a top 5 tv series for me. The other SG shows are great too! Can’t wait for this to come out!

I'm hesitantly excited, as I loved Stargate: SG-1 (and its movies) and Stargate: Atlantis, but I really disliked Stargate: Universe. I didn't bother to check out Stargate: Origins (was that the name?).

I will be definitely checking this out, I was a big fan of the original movie and also enjoyed SG-1. I really haven’t followed the other tv series all that much.
