Well, this movie snuck up on me. Elevation is an alien invasion/post-apocalyptic movie starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Maddie Hasson.

Set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains, a single father and two women venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy.
Overall review: Boyfriend & I enjoyed the movie. It's your typical alien invasion/post-apocalyptic movie but the journey to get from A to B was fun. Watching it during the day was better on a big screen with surround sound (and we had the room to ourselves). If you just want to forget about the world outside for 2hrs this will do it.
