Does anybody know when these books will be released? The dates in the following link are from March of this year, so six months ago, and there hasn't been anything updated since then. Just curious if anyone can offer any info, thanks.

Hi Apes!! I don't have any info on the books, but when I saw the mention of BEARMANOR, I had to tell you my experiences. I am acquainted with one Martin Grams Jr. He has put out quite a few books though Bearmanor. I met him about three years ago at the WIndy City Pulp convention.
He was flogging his books and most of his table was Bootleg dvds of old tv shows and movies. He is the author to one of my favorite books: Car 54 Where Are You
CAR 54 Where Are You? is considered one of the best television comedies ever produced. From 1961 to 1963, Officers Toody and Muldoon were among the most unlikely patrol-car partners ever seen on a police force. Toody was short, stocky, and just a it nosy, a marked contrast to the tall, quiet Muldoon. Although they were
And he broke my heart.
I quizzed him about the writing of the book and he basically told me he spent ONLY Two weeks at the Nat Hiken archives at the University of Wisconsin and wrote the books from all that was there. NO NEW Interviews with anyone still alive and associated with the show. And he seemed very indifferent to the whole thing like it was some kind of chore that HAD to be done.
Damn. I mean I am glad that such a book exists, but I am sad that it wasn't written with some passion for the show and its creator and actors. Sad.
But I am digressing, Not answering your question.
Honestly, I don't know when those books are coming out, I checked out the website and nothing. I am sure you probably tried to contact them; the only thing I can say is maybe contact Martin and ask him if he has an "IN" at Bearmanor and if they can give you the answers you want. Sorry That I couldn't be of more help.I would love to score the second book as I am more in sync with the TV Show.

Jorge,
Too bad about your experience with him. At least he didn't personally insult you or anything like that, but I can see why you'd be disappointed that he was less than enthusiastic about his own book on "Car 54, Where Are You?"
I did something I should have done sooner, and that was checking Amazon.com: It turns out that Volume 1 is available now, with Volume 2 coming soon. Three of the four Amazon reviews are positive, so that's a good thing too.Comment
