    Doctor Who theme Live

This is the Davison theme live as played by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop @ Roundhouse 17 May 2009. When you get 1/2 way thru the band loosesns up and changes into a really cool rock version-almost worthy of a cover by the band YES. I recommend skipping to the 1/2 way point and listening. It's great:

How could they play that live ?

I thought most of it was mixed over and over and over in the studio to get the final effect -- including a human voice in some parts.

If this is truly live, they did a hell of a nice job recreating it.

I don't think the first part is live Mike, you gotta fastforward a bit

i think the Davison theme (or techally the 1980-84) was more midi keyboard anyway so if the synth was set it could easily be performed "live"

I was never a big fan of the Davison era music ...

Nostalgia wise I always remember that music meaning Baker's last year which kind of sucked and then he finally died

Yes, for the more free-form preformance got to the 1/2 way point.
