Do any of the producers, writers and directors in Hollywood know the definition of originality? I don't think so. Where is the movie industry gonna be 20 years from now when there's nothing left to remake b/c no one has had an original thought in 2 decades?

This won't be a movie I'll be forking over my hard earned money to see. No one tops Michael Rennie.

I usually don't like to pre-judge remakes. Many times they are very well done. But Keanu Reeves?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey...let Me say something in Keanu's defense! Keanu got an excellent review, for His Stage Portrayal of "HAMLET"...from the London Times. Now that's no small feat...the Brit's take Thier Shakespear VERY seriously!

Why oh why remake a movie that was done right the first time? The original is arguably one of the best science fiction movies of the last century.
