Speaking of 90's obscure shows -- EARTH II

I used to like Earth 2

The biggest thing I hated about it was the little girl.
She was sooooo annoying I could hardly stand it.

The rest of the show was ok, though.

I thought the Doctor was really hot

I remember it airing at the same time as Seaquest, and I always watched Earth 2 instead of Seaquest.

The production was really cheapo.
They didn't even make an effort to try and make Earth 2 not look like it was filmed in New Mexico


Anybody else remember Earth 2 ?

I liked it but I'm not sure why?
I got hooked from the first episode when they were in space,then they landed and it was kinda boring but I still hung in there.

Before Earth 2 Jessica Steen was on Captain Power & the Soldiers of the Future (as Pilot) very early on Sat am. Between her and J M Straczynski's above average writing for a Sat am show I had reason to be an early riser.

I watched Earth 2 - always try to support sci-fi & comic books shows - liked Clancy Brown, the Grendlers (sp?), & Terrians but didn't really have the patience for it at the time. Didn't stick with it until the end.

I miss SeaQuest and Earth 2. I loved both shows. I really hated that whining annoying guy who was married to that girl and always was selfish and took the easy way out. But other than that the show was pretty good. I tend to go for the more cerebral than the violent.

Mainly watched it on Scifi repeats. It and Space: above and Beyond both kind of had there 1 shot seasons as most networks don't stand up for scifi shows if they don't get great early ratings. they don't realize it takes time for word of mouth to spread. but now in the digital age these shows get even less time to grab an audiance.

Jessica steen is still pretty hot if you watch NCIS rerruns she shows up there alot

I watched it most of the first season but I pretty much lost interest.....I though the Dr was hot too but I also liked the other woman...I think she was the little boys mother?
got tired of the Antonio Sabato character real quick too
