Nice, I can't wait to see these. Is the third one not owned by Warner?
Man from Atlantis is also coming out on this label I see.
I was in Walmart yesterday and they had Universal Legacy sets
for nine bucks. It was some kind of Halloween promotion. I have all of these
but the Creature, however that was one of the sets I didn't see.
If you are looking for these at a lower price, you can't beat it.
This is in Canada, incidently.Comment

^^^^^^^well I just did a walmart.com check and they list all the sets but only dracula & wolfman are listed as avail in stores and not at $9.00 either.
Anyone know if US walmarts have this deal???

According to Trekmovie.com these were due out last Tuesday, but I've checked BestBuy and Wal Mart and neither have them, nor show them on the system!? I hope that doesnt mean Canada wont get them!!!!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

^^^You might have. They aired them back to back up here a couple of times back in the late seventies....I assume they did the same in the US?
Strange New World was made by the same studio after pushing out Roddenberry (for much the same reasons he was pushed aside for the Trek films). I cant remember it very well, but I do know it reused a lot of the same elements from the Roddenberry concept."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

These are Warner Archive titles, only available through there website (and some through Amazon). They are not full fledged DVD releases and are actually burned on DVD-R's
Warner started to issue films this way a little while ago to make more of their library of obscure films available without the cost of a full retail DVD release.
Warner Archive: WBshop.com - The Official Online Store of Warner Bros. Studios
19.95 for a single is a little pricey IMO, but they do have specials and package deals.Last edited by mego73; Oct 20, '09, 9:50 PM.Comment
