That's pretty much the second movie. (insert Drug Dealers in where the shooting is happeneing). The point being, the climactic battle just isn't all that exciting when it's the Predators beating up a senior citizen. What made the Predator dangerous in the first movie was the fact that he took out so many tough guys before Arnie.

Picking on a film crew or Civil War re-enactors doesn't do anything to underline how dangerous the Predators are, although it would be pretty darn funny in that Three's Company misunderstanding kind of way.

Throw him into the middle of a Prison Riot, or the Gulf War, or a Battle Royale Island with Freddy, Jason X, Ash from Evil Dead, Aliens, The Leprechaun, Carrot-top, Godzilla, Wolverine, Jean Claude Van Damme, The Kurgan, etc.

Although Dexter versus the Predators does sound like fun. Call Dark Horse and pitch 'em!

Van Damme was already in a Predator Movie..., Actually he was the Predator in half of the 1st Flick..., He quit the Film because He couldn't hang being in the Suit anymore.

The 1st Batman vs Predator Comic done by the Kubert Bro's, was Awesome.

Predator 1 & 2 are 2 of my Go-To's while working on Figures for the Background. I love those Movies, & Have High Hopes for this 1 too.

I like them all except AVP2, which was so bad, I had trouble sitting through it to the end. Man, that movie shamelessly ripped of everything.

And sorry to disagree, but I still like GvP (Glover versus Predator). It doesn't always have to be "muscleman" versus the monster.
I even enjoyed AvP1, even though the Predators needed more screen time.

Let's hope a decent director saves the franchise from certain doom...

I had heard that as well... he was the stunt-Predator in the trees?

Kevin Peter Anderson from Misfits of Science and Harry and the Hendersons was the Predator that they faced off against when he was finally revealed (on the ground).

Makes sense to cast a seven foot guy to fight six foot actors.

Batman Vs Predator was a guilty pleasure... as was Superman Vs Aliens.

Although I thought the best Crossover was WildCats Vs Aliens, it actually had some huge consequences and launched The Authority. Great Chris Sprouse art.

Have you seen JCVD? Fantastic character driven movie dealing with those very issues disguised as an action movie.

JCVD was actually good. It's the first Van Damme movie I watched in over a decade. He's a good actor. He just makes bad movies.
