Seaquest was kind of like Star Trek underwater for the first couple of seasons. No slam against Michael Ironside but when he became the Captain, the show went downhill. And when the Seaquest ended up on an alien planet - talk about jumping the shark!!

Another old but good underwater show: Seahunt with Lloyd Bridges!

I agree w/ you about SeaQuest. Roy Scheider was a way better captain! I pretty much stopped watching when the 2020 thing started.

And I love Sea Hunt! I've really gotten hooked on this show. Lloyd Bridges was the MAN! Here's a link to some first season eps on Hulu:

Yes, SeaLab 2020 is an excellent show. (don't much care for 2021, even though I have the t-shirt).

I LOVED Sealab 2020! Too bad we can't own those episodes but we can buy the adult swim versions anytime we want.

Loved Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea as a kid,the flying sub was awesome.
What season did the little sub appear in?

Also Man from Atlantis was cool,as was all the Jaque Cousteau programmes.

"Voyage to the bottom" of the sea is my all time favorite ....loved "20,000 leagues under the sea".....and couldn't get enough "Flipper" when I was a kid Then there was "man from Atlantis" when I was a little older....as a matter of fact I watched all the shows mentioned but "Sea Quest" was always a little strange and then got weird.
