    Do you like undersea shows?

I do, and that's pretty funny considering I don't swim that well! But the shows I'm into are:

    Sea Hunt
Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea
    Flipper
    SeaQuest DSV

Do you like these, or something I didn't name?

I used to watch Flipper every day. I remember when he got hit in the head by a boat and got amnesia. I have seen a couple of episodes of SeaQuest DSV and liked what I saw. When I renew my NetFlix, I'll get back into SeaQuest. Our local Target had "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea Volume one and two" in a set for $20 and I almost bought it.

Undersea shows? Awesome. But I haven't seen much of them. I have liked what I've seen.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was my favorite ....

A close second is Gerry Anderson's Stingray

      I never cared for Seaquest.
I wanted to like it but to me it was too boring.

I love Stringray! I guess I wasn't thinking of kid's shows when I thought of this thread.

Flipper is one of my all time favorite shows from being a kid. When Season 1 came out on DVD, I bought it and my daughter was hooked (no pun intended). Wish they came out with other season disks of that one.

Well, if we are talking under water, then the Filmation Aquaman is up there on my list. There was also an anime called Marine Boy
          It's all good!

I love watching documentaries about ocean life. Does that count?

Yes, I love the 60s Aquaman cartoon too. And Jess, I've been known to watch a Jacque Costeau documentary now and then back in the day.

I thought you meant underwater viewing shows, or glass bottom boats. Yeah, love 'em and shows too.

I watched Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and Man From Atlantis. My 7 yr old discovered Flipper reruns online and thought it was great.

Never could get into SeaQuest though.

And 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (the Disney version) is an all-time classic movie I've watched many times, it never gets old. What a cast Disney could assemble- Kirk Douglas, James Mason, Peter Lorre! A lot of people forget the many big-name stars that appeared in Disney Films, since many of the later films had the stock casts of Dean Jones, Suzanne PLeshette, Hayley Mills, Brian Keith, Kurt Russell...all wonderful stars, but certainly not A-list Hollywood like Kirk Douglas or James Mason.
If any studio other than Disney had made this film it would be a Hollywood Classic, but I think that since Disney controlled the release & distribution, it kinda fell between the cracks and lost the status it would have earned by being more accessible on TV and in reruns over the years.

The ride at Disney World SUCKED though IMO... They've since abandoned it.

This was my first impression from the title as well.

My first thought was of a place in San Marcos, TX that used to have a diving/swimming pig as part of the performance. There was an underwater auditorium thing you would go down into to see the Mermaids do their routines and the finale was the pig diving into the show area and swimming around doing stunts.

                        good times

Seaquest was kind of like Star Trek underwater for the first couple of seasons. No slam against Michael Ironside but when he became the Captain, the show went downhill. And when the Seaquest ended up on an alien planet - talk about jumping the shark!!

Another old but good underwater show: Seahunt with Lloyd Bridges!
