Oh, come on! Supes hands down. Supes can move planets. He could stand there and yawn while the Schmulk pounds away at him. Well, the Pre-COIE Supes anyway.

Well yeah...pre Crisis Supes is just about unbeatable.
I'm obviously talking about the new Supes.
The new Supes can't go toe-to-toe with the Hulk (at least the current comic book version)...he has to maneuver around him...use his intellect, speed, and all his other superpowers...he will fight him smart...and he will prevail.

The movie versions...no contest...the Superman Returns' Supes is just more powerful that either Hulk movie versions...not even close.
I mean come one...I'd love to see the movie Hulk lift this puppy...lol...

Supes would definately win......because other than his powers he has his smarts....Hulk is just a mindless brute....now if it was the combined Banner/Hulk from the Peter David days you might have a good contestComment

I just don't think an irradiated human giant is strong enough to hurt a full-powered Kryptonian, Pre or Post-crisis.

At some point the Hulk needs to breathe. We know for a fact that he can be gassed into unconciousness. Superman simply needs to pick up the Hulk, fly him into space and wait until he's out. Of course, at that time he wil revert to Bruce Banner and die unless Superman flies him to Earth right away, but Supes has the speed to do just that.Comment

I have an old 1981 graphic (small novel sized and about as thick) comic which had a Superman and Spiderman teamup.
At any rate I am almost positive Superman tangled with the Hulk in this. I would have to dig it out, but I know the Hulk was going on a rampage and Superman was able to handle him just fine"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"
