New Superman Movie....News?

Dont know if you are aware but........

I popped over to the superman homepage and have watched the latest news bulletin.

It would appear that Snger has been given the bullet ( thank god ) and that a new director is rumoured.

God...I envy that guy's Superman collection...

I like Singer...and I liked Superman Returns...but maybe a change is needed to make it more action-packed...and a bit darker would be good too...not Dark Knight dark...bit just a tad more risque.

A Superman reboot sounds like what is needed now.

As much as I applauded Superman Returns, I gotta admit, Singer painted himself into a corner with the kid. I'd like a new movie WITH NO ORIGIN and well, Superman fighting somebody.

If they gotta darken it up, do it with the villains. The animated series did a good job upping the creep factor on Toyman.

Yep, the kid didn't bother me in Superman Returns, but I didn't want to see him in the future movies. It was a definite mistake for a franchise that needed more action.

Im a massive massive supes fan and that guys collection.....i just wished that my other half would let me have a 'toy room' like that.

I dont dislike Superman Returns and I dont want it going down the Batman reboot , which is very dark , but that suits the Batman franchise.

I agree , you could darken the movie with the villans.....toyman & brainiac teaming up. Do we need Luthor again......not sure.

We need a full on mens action movie. We dont need reminding of the 'love' supes and Lois have for each other , thats been done.

I would love to see the old movie sets remade aswell.

His ice home in 'returns' was completely different even though singer said 'returns' was placed between movies 2 & 3. How can you say this then change everything , the suit , his ice home etc. I dont get it.

I do think that a supes movie is imminent. WB are due to the lose the rights if they dont make another movie and I dont think they will want that.

Maybe the ice melted a bit due to global warming? I personally don't want a new film tied at all to Singer's/Donner's version at all. And a big no to Luthor, too. There are plenty of other Superman baddies to choose from and none of them outside Luthor and Zod have seen the light of day.
