I always wanted to see this, mainly due to all the comic book ads of the time, but have only seen bits and pieces from when it was aired on tv in the mid eighties. Is it out on DVD?

I cant believe, the way this was marketed at the time, that somebody didnt have the toy rights?

This is definately a guilty pleasure. Someone did a line of Matchbox/Hotwheels like vehicles from the film.

Bit of trivia: HK film production company Golden Harvest did quite poorly with this film, it was a flop. So due to superstition regarding bad luck, they changed the English title of an upcoming Jackie Chan film from "Meals on Wheels" to the meaningless title "Wheels on Meals" so that it wouldn't begin with "M" as "Megaforce" did.

OMG I had repressed the memories of seeing that one. I know I saw it but I can't remember a single detail about it. I do recall thinking at the time that it was perhaps the worst movie ever made (and trying to chew my own head off at the neck to make it stop). Thanks for reminding me... now I have to go back into therapy!

Some are fairly valuable too. I hit one in a buyout a while back and it sat on a shelf in my cellar for like 2 or 3 years and I decided to post it to ebay with a bunch of other stuff about a year back. It sold for almost what I paid for the original lot. $78. Was a nice unexpected surprise. Haven't seen any of it in the wild since then. Only piece I've ever owned.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I was disappointed when I saw this as a kid too. The comic ads seemed pretty awesome and the vehicles are still pretty neat. I think the flying motorcycles were very funny. This movie has a special place in my heart along with Metalstorm and other stuff of that era.
