yes its a reamagined version not a continuation of Kenneth Johnson's brilliant original 1983 miniseries.ABC television has ordered 13 episodes most of it has already been shot. the pilot airs in November. more reamagening and remakes god help us !!
I saw the previews at SDCC, and my first thought was that Party of Five guy is no Marc Singer!
I do like the casting for Diana... she's the "companion" from Firefly/Serenity.
It looks like they are going old school with the skin peeling off to reveal lizard underneath. I don't know why, but I was kind of expecting some kind of CGI morphing. They also said there would be much eating of rat.

yo gotta be talking about Scott Wolf from Party of Five he's not even in the same League as Marc Singer. just another pretty boy who cant act
V is our generation and should be marketed to our age range and if younger people get 'it' then so be it , but dont throw in pretty boy for the sake of it.
ABC is not so high on this now....been cut back to 4 episodes this fall....then after some retooling, it'll be back in MARCH
Well ABC did leave us hanging with the great Invasion series a few years back so wouldn't be shocked.

Lost's Elizabeth Mitchell stars in this reimagining of the 1980s sci-fi miniseries and series as FBI counter terrorism agent Erica Evans. She is the first to discover that, beneath the skin of a presumed friendly visiting alien race, they're more sinister than anyone imagined. Evans' son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), sees the Vs as an opportunity to make mankind unite with a common goal while news anchor Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) wants to advance his career by getting an exclusive interview with the aliens' leader, Anna (Morena Baccarin)
