Was just watching some deleted scenes from Doctor Who (The New Series) season-4 .. disc-3
The scenes weren't bloopers, they were just cut scenes that never made it to the actual televised version ...
What i'm driving at is ... They had no effects, no music, no sound effects, no post production lighting and the talking sound was not altered.....
All this together made it feel like it was a classic Doctor Who episode from perhaps the Peter Davison era.
It made me long for the good old days of the way Doctor Who was made.
I have nothing against the New Who style (except for the sometimes embarrassingly bad gothic style music), but watching it without all the frills really took me back to a simpler time.
If you have this set, try it and see what you think.
