I was just watching the extras on the Wrath of Khan DVD and a section which interviews the Star Trek novelists mentions that Khan has a past history with Gary Seven! What is their relationship?

In Greg Cox's "Eugenics Wars" novels, Gary Seven had numerous dealings with Khan Noonien Singh and initially hopes to train Khan as his successor. Along with his now-partner Roberta Lincoln, Seven tries to prevent World War III in a variety of ways.
