Hey Guys,

Anyone See OutLander Yet ?
It just came out on DVD...
It's Basically about a Space Warrior / Alien / Hunter that comes to Earth During the Viking Age, tracking down some sorta Alien Dragon ..

Yes I watched it.
To tell you the truth I really enjoyed it.I had no idea what it was about going into it.I was pleasantly surprised when I watched.Story was pretty good graphics were decent.
movie played pretty fluid with a couple of small hiccups but other than that I am going to pick it up for dvd it was an excellent popcorn flick for sure.
It reminded me of a cross between enemy mine and predator.
What were your thoughts?

I was thinking you were talking about that old Sean Connery sci-fi flick from the 80's. What was that called? Outland? It was set on a mining colony in space or something like that.

The Movie was just one of those I stumbled across... Every Once in a While a B Movie is done really Well ... I think of this Movie a Bit More than Just some Average B rated Flick ...

I am the Kinda Guy that is Usally all over a Modern Sci-Fi or a Conan Type of Movie ... It was very interesting to see the 2 Mixed.

The Graphics were Very cool. It did Have the Enemy Mines type of Vibe with the 2 Alien Races being somewhat stranded,.. with the Predator Hunting Aspect .. Mixed with a 13 Warrior World.

I liked it.
No Bad Actors either imo,.. Which is Oddly Rare for these Type of Movies...

B-movie sci-fi is my thing so I thought it was groovy.
I am surprised that it has just been way under the radar?
I'm sure it wasn't cheap to produce so you would think you would hear a little more about it.
Were you as surprised as I was when the whole truth came out?
I am trying not to give anything away It did have a good little twist or two.

Another half decent movie I stumbled across was Pathfinder.It has no sci-fi but it is conan-ish.I liked it another B-movie winner in my books.

I liked this one a Bit More ..
I like this one as much as the Other one I saw,... With Thomas Jane Called the Mutant Cronicles...

I dunno how to write it to not give anything away....

Yes... That was A nice Twist.
I was also Kinda Surprised to see Ron PerlMan's Head Go Flying Off Across the Screen.
My Only real Complaint is ,.. you knew the Outlander & the Chick were going to Live,.. & the Other Dude was Gonna Die... It was too much of a Given.

I haven't heard of this one I'll have to check it out.
I like janes acting he is usally pretty solid in his movies.

Not only does the Sean Connery movie come to mind but Outland was also the sequel series to Bloom county.

I don't think there was much blood shed in the one with the Penguin.
