Listen carefully, I shall say this only once:
Take the DVD-gently now-outside the building.

Dig a shallow hole, never losing sight of the DVD. Make sure no kids or animals come near it. Put the DVD in the hole.
    Liberally pour petrol over it.
    Step away from the DVD.
    Further away!

Throw a match into the hole and watch from a respectful distance as it is destroyed.
Then go the nearest church and get some Holy Water, to cleanse the site.

Trust me. I've watched this abomination.
Great actors, trapped in a crappy movie.

You, my friend, have been warned....

That movie sucked so bad, you'd need 10 Crazy Straws! It's ONLY saving grace was Dick Tufield voice as the Robot.

There is some neat ideas and good FX wrapped around that bad plot. I don't mind the movie, just like the original show there is a pile of unintentional cringe involved though.

I liked it. I'd buy it for $3.
I was disappointed that they didn't use enough of the original cast (there were a few cameos) and that they didn't make the Robot close enough to the original but I thought it was a pretty good movie besides that. I would've much preferred a continuation of the original series with Guy Williams role recast (for obvious reasons).
If they hadn't used the original Robot voice it would've been a lot worse.
It was a little hard to get past "Joey" from Friends as that show was hot at the time and all I could see was "Joey".

Gorn has my support on this one. I hated the film. The television series buried the movie on every measure and with a substantially smaller budget I might add. Mike all I can tell you is if you have any expectation for Lost In Space the movie to resemble anything like Lost in Space the show, you will be terribly disappointed. There are too many problems to mention them all. But I will say the first and most important item worth noting was the character of John Robinson (who was every bit the Robinhood of outerspace like Star Trek's Capt. Kirk) was reduced to this depressed recluse who has the personality of a brick. The character is the very antithesis of what the television John Robinson was. The robot is also an obamanation. And poor Dick Tufeld, who did the original voice for the television B-9 robot, had to constantly scream "Danger Will Robinson!" like he was coming off a caffiene overdose. While there were a few nodes to the show, overall the film lacked originality to be it's own animal while not having enough charm to identify itself with the classic series, so it tanked quickly at the box office. There haven't been enough residual fans of the film to warrant another effort, so I wouldn't anticipate another attempt for a while. Thank God...

i thought it was a pretty good movie. Not big on plot but fun to watch anyway. The series sucked too so I don't see what everyone is complaining about.

The only thing I really liked, was the soundtrack by Apollo 440.
                        The music rocked!

No matter how cheesy the TV show was, I liked it a lot better than than this

That movie was ruff. I'm a huge fan of the original Lost in Space. I'm with Gorn on his review. I could name a bunch of movies that I'd rather watch before I watched that movie again

                            I liked the Spaceship "ZOOOOOOOOOOM"

Although the movie wasn't big on plot,it is watchable but i like any sci-fi flicks

Lost in Space was the worst movie ever.

I'd rather watch Waterworld in slow motion 5 times in a row, then watch Lost in space once
