The new movie is coming out on Friday so with the focus being on Star Trek like it hasn't been for a while, maybe us longtime fans can admit that we know waaaay too much about Star Trek. I lead the charge by dredging up little bits of useless Trek trivia and others can follow.
In "The Man Trap", there were a couple montages of crew in corridors gearing up for the just declared alert from Kirk. One of the shots is out of the pilot version of "Where No Man Has Gone Before"(which you can only get right now on bootleg). It comes from the few extra scenes of corridor activity (not seen in the broadcast version) between the time Kirk goes from the transporter room to the bridge and is the shot where Gary Mitchell is introduced. In "Man Trap", the shot cuts just as we see the foot of Gary cross into the doorway on the right. (photo won't link directly, access it from this page, bottom left)

And then there are a couple pieces of useless Trek movie trivia:
The fabric used to upholster the Enterprise seats is girdle fabric, it stretches and dyes well.
The view of San Francisco outside of Kirk's apartment in Trek 2 and 3 was a backdrop made for The Towering Inferno and later used after the Trek movies in the first Die Hard.
