Need 1950's Sci-Fi movie title

I'm trying to figure out the title of a movie.
I haven't seen it in over 30 years. It used to be a staple of 70's Saturday Afternoon Sci-Fi TV.

It was a B&W Sci-Fi movie set at present day (the 50's) on Earth.

There was a giant square bad robot that stood like 10 stories high.

I remember them landing a helicopter on it's square head to try and disarm it.

I kind of remember the robot not looking much like a robot ... it looked more like a building.

That's all I can remember.

Anybody know the name of this movie ?
