Light-up Star Trek Badge in specially marked boxes of Frosted Flakes cereal

Yes, I bought a cereal just for the prize (like none of you have ever done that! ) But I like Frosted Flakes anyway. You can supposedly get any one of these badges: Command, Science, Engineering, Romulan and Klingon. (I got the Command). I don't know why they call these "badges", b/c you can't pin or clip them onto anything. You just push the button on the side and the little insignia lights up. Kind of silly, if you ask me; not being able to wear it, I mean.

What gets me is, there have been lotsa Star Trek movies released and (w/ the exception of the "Motion Picture" and Blockbuster Video items when "Generations" came out), there has been virtually NO Star Trek merchandising until this stupid movie. What a rip.

I bought several boxes although I have yet to open one up yet. I hope that when I do that I at least get the command badge if not the whole complete set. As it is I am pretty behind on cereal eating right now. I also bought a case of the new Star Trek cereal the other day. It looks as if I will be eating cereal for a very loooong time.

Apple Jacks and Froot Loops too. Rice Krispies has it that you get a t-shirt if you buy a certain number of boxes,like nine I think.

We don't get prizes that often either, (which is why I get cereals w/ the prizes). I have that spoon too. It says you can't get the base wet. Can't get the base wet? It's a cereal spoon! Milk is involved here!

I know, and that is SO wrong! What happenend to the thrill of the hunt? Your mom yelling at you not to stick your hand in the box and making you get out the mixing bowl and spoon? Trying to beat our your siblings for first dibs? I tell ya, it just ain't the same!

I don't know if anyone has seem them or not yet (if I have them I am sure everyone else has to) There is also new Star Trek movie trading cards on specially marked boxes of cereal. The cards are displayed on the back panel of the cereal box. You will have to cut them out for those that like to do that. I will be keeping mine in tact. Thank you very much. There is a total of 12 cards so it isn't too big of a treasure hunt. Thank goodness! I will try to get some pictures later.

As mentioned previously there are only twelve cards total to collect. There is six cards per box panel. There are two different box panels basically.
