    Favorite Classic Sci-Fi Channel feature

Isn't it sad that I have to call it "classic" Sci-Fi Channel, b/c the new Sci-Fi sucks now?

Anyway, we all know about the cool shows and movies, but what about the way they were presented? I'm talking about things like:

    1) The Sci-Fi Series Collection-featured short lived shows like Planet Of The Apes, The Magician, Fantastic Voyage, Manimal, Automan, etc.

2)The Sci-Fi Cartoon Quest-featured shows like Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Galaxy High, Land Of The Lost, etc.

3)Pilot Playhouse- featured the pilot eps of classic shows

4)Final Curtain- featured the last eps of classic shows

    5) Super Nova Movie Explosion- featured 2 days of great classic movies

    6) Featured Themed weeks- movies that followed a running theme like Japanese monsters, classic monsters, etc.

    7) Sci-Fi World- Themes for each day of the week (S) Superhero Land, (C) Creature Land, (I) Inhuman Land (F) Future Land (I) Intergalactic Land

    8) all of the many marathons!

    SO...

Did you have a favorite feature? Man, I miss this channel!

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Unfortunately, my cable company didn't carry Sci Fi until 1998, and by then it already started sucking.

I never did see Sci Fi during it's prime.

All I could do is read it's listings in TV guide and get ****ed off why Comcast would carry 3 Spanish channels, but not carry Sci Fi

The Sci-Fi series collection was great...pre DVD you could see runs of great series like The Night Stalker.

One of my favorites was The Immortal with Christopher George (he played Troy on The Rat Patrol). Great forgotten show about a man who's blood could cure disease and prevent ageing, and the greedy millionaire who hunted him across the country trying to capture him and learn the secret of immortality.

I liked the comic book show. Have no idea what it was called, but did see an episode with Harlan Ellison on it. I may be remembering it wrong. Maybe it was some sci fi talk show.

It was called Anti gravity Room they would give it after Sci-Fi Buzz one of the reasons I loved the Sci-Fi channel. It totally sucks now

What was the one were they had three people sitting around a table doing interviews? I know the one time Dirk Benedict was on talking about Battlestar Galactica. I think Richard Hatch was on with him too.
