anybody going to watch thor on sci-fi?

Well, I liked it.
I thought it was really rather good (of course that is using the Sci-Fi scale of movie ratings)
Yeah, the werewolves sucked, but I'd much rather see a man in mask than a crappy CGI version (which is all you will ever get on Sci-Fi, as they never budget for good CGI)
So I was happy with that.

Costumes were good.
The dialog wasn't terrrible.
The story moved along ok and the plot wasn't too far out there.

So I was a happy camper.
Even watched with undivided attention (which is high praise for a Sci-Fi offering)

I could see it being a huge disappointment for anyone looking for a hero type story. But I was looking for a barbarian flick, and that is what I got.

Agreed.

Except the dialogue was close to terrible and no attempt at an accet or dialect outside the opening monologue.

Well, I don't have high expectations with the dialogue in most barbarian flicks.
Prime example, is look at the butchery of dialogue in Conan.

I wish they were all done as well as 13th Warrior, but that is actually the exception rather than the norm.
