I'm kind of looking forward to it , but dont go into it thinking it's a Marvel flick...I think this movie is going to based more in Norse mythology.

somehow i missed news of this

i'll check my listings and watch

knowing it is going after the norse mythology and not the marvel character ahead of time will make it more enjoyable than if i thought it was a failed attempt at the don blake character.

The only actor I can imagine as Thor was the Men In Tights Little John guy.

I think he played Thor in a Hulk TV movie

Wasn't Kevin McKidd slated to play Thor?

I'm thinking that they have had to walk a fine line not to step on any marvel trademarks so marketing it to the superhero crowd is difficult.

it probably will draw in the whole hercules/xena crowd (if they know it's on - cause like ya said - not much marketing)

It's a live action flick and it looks pretty cool. It should give us something to talk about at least for a day....unless it's realy good then we can talk about it for a day and a half !!

I know the commercials I saw said something about werewolves also.
                              Should be a fun flick.
Which is all I look for in a SciFi movie.
I don't expect a great plot or awesome move. Just something fun to kill a couple hours on a Saturday night while I do other things.
