I Loved Clash of the Titans. Thats a Great Movie. It would be cool to see an Updated Version since the effects weren't that great. Bring on the Kraken

I think that would be fun, but from a special effects perspective I think it won't touch the artistry of the original. The original is a classic and the work done in that is obvious. A computer graphic won't compete. I envision it looking something like Van Helsing. Lots of cartoony CGI characters.Comment

I know they'll go CGI with this, but if they could get Harryhausen to do even a small stop motion scene, god what a treat that would be.
How cool would this be directed by Jackson or Del Toro??

My love of this film definitely borders on the obsessive. I'd probably see the remake, but it could never make me feel the same way.
Clash was one of the last great stop-motion monster movies. Only a few years later, CGI took hold and is still going strong today.
Kinda marked the end of the innocence for movies.Comment

Why not just do a sequel? Is there really any reason to remake the same picture?? It's not like there's not enough mythological areas to explore (or explore more deeply).
I disagree that the SFX "weren't that great". I think they were great for the time the movie was made and hold up well today.
No, they don't look all "real" like CGI but sometimes CGI is so "real" it stands out more as fake.
