Man, Urban does have McCoy nailed doesnt he!? I was hopping off the bandwagon after seeing the corvette bit, and the "Lay off me man" bar bit, but other scenes really do have the old Trek feel to them.
....Whats with all the light flashes (?) into the camera on the bridge/Scotty scene?"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

I like the McCoy scene, and like the acting in it, but I thought McCoy only didn't like the transporter? This sort of makes him seem like a hypochondriac being afraid of flying in a shuttle. It is the 23rd century after all, he would have grown up seeing technology all his life. It's all good!Comment

I always though the De Kelley McCoy character grew up and lived most of his life in some kind of "old School" rural part of Georgia, where folks still cooked actual meals, and mowed their lawns. Leaving this place for space would be pretty traumatic...kind of like how I felt when I moved from the farm to the city. You never really feel at ease, or comfortable. This would explain a lot of McCoys little rants and snipes.
I can see why it makes you feel sea sick!! I at first thought the weird flare stuff was my monitor acting up or something. During the second view I realized it was the clip itself....I hope the whole darn film doesnt have it!?"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

That would make sense for McCoy.
I wonder if the movie will make reference to the older Doctors of the Enterprise. I also hadn't heard about any references to Nurse Chapel or Yeoman Rand for the new movie. It's all good!Comment

Yeah, those are pretty coolCapt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"Comment
