not crazy just self deluded. When you have as much success for so long you will believe every choice you make is right. Look at Kevin Costner after dances with wolves he thought he was a master director and made The postman and Waterworld

Ewok and Howard the Duck jokes aside, I can't help but flash back to the gentle ribbing Lucas took when he, Coppola, and Spielberg handed Scorcese an Oscar.

I always expected Lucas to get his as a lifetime achievement, but maybe he took that moment to heart and is spending his few remaining years making his run at the little naked Golden statue.
