I got the Season 4 Volume 1 set of Voyage To The Bottom To The Sea today. I had always known that an episode in the forth season used the Mugato outfit so I went and looked through that one.
What I realized when I wanted to get a Mugato face from the Star Trek episode he was in for a card project is that there weren't good closeups of the face in the Star Trek episode.
Not so for "Fatal Cargo", the episode he appears on in VTTBOTS. You get to see the Mugato's face in good detail in a few shots. He doesn't have his head horn or back spikes but it's the same ol Mugato.
I also wrote about the Mugato suit being used in a "Here's Lucy" episode some time ago.
The suit was worn by Janos Prohaska in all the shows and he probably owned the suit. I wonder if Star Trek was what it was made for or if it was made for something earlier.
