BSG;Where to start???

Okay the series is over,I was not a fan so did not watch it.
I find myself now in a position with oodles of time and access to the series so where do I start?
Dumb question I know but do I start with season 1 epi 1 or was there a mini series?
If somebody could give me a line of progression with minis up to the finale that would be great.
I may not make it past the first season unless it pulls me in but I'm going to give it a shot.

From what I've seen, you have to watch every episode in order just to know what the heck is going on!

I thought it was just episodes 1 and 2 together no ?

I was set to watch eps 1,2,3,4 season 1 tonight at work now I need a mini as well...?

Yes, watch the mini-series first. I don't know if it's critical, but it's pretty great.

okay I think I found it,bsg mini 2003.

No,no more jobs at my place.
I'm a night watchman I do walk or drive around patrols every forty-five to sixty minutes so I can either read or watch movies in between patrols.
I just finished rewatching the enitre Buffy and Angel series.
I figured I would give the new BSG an honest chance no distractions just me and BSG alone in a 96 acre park all night....

I guess I'm lucky cause I never watched it...
I tried just could never get into it.
Hopefully now I'll be able to give it a good go.

Okay so the way I gather it it goes like this;

BSG:mini 2003
season 1
season 2
season 3
BSG Razor
season 4

is that correct?
was there an actual pilot? any other minis?

I need something to watch that I have not seen a bazillion times already,and like I said earlier,I currently have access to it.

I watched the mini and eps1-4 tonight.
It is tolerable but there are alot of things that bug me so far.
But true to my word I will give it a fair shake.

Alright I have seen up to episode nine now.
The show is much better watched in order
First four eps were decent four even had raw emotion.
I was digging episode five until starbuck patched a cylon raider with her jacket and flew it into space???
What the Frak is that about!!!
other than that it was decent.

Okay I am now about to watch episode ten of season two.
Not bad so far.For sure not a series that you should watch out of order at all.
Perhaps that is the greatest issue I had in it's initial run.
Still a few things that bug me but so far not bad at all.
I may be on the verge of denouncing any previous BSG hate threads I had posted before...LOL
