Ah yes, the Tom Snyder Star Trek episode

Ellison acted like a jerk in that.

Even though he always acts like a jerk -- this episode was the first to show it to the world.

Ellison has the attitude of most Brilliant people at the time "I'm Smarter than you and I know it" of course even by then he was so successful he could be

It was nice seeing people like Doohan defend the show on Snyder.
Don't forget, this was mid 70's and most of the public never seen these people outside their characters.

That show was the first time I ever knew Kelley had a much better sense of humour then Doohan... which at the time was unexpected.

Yeah, I saw that as well. Ellison was a jerk. It was nice to hear the behind the scenes stuff and how the cast saw how the show affected the fans.
