Any pics of those? Be cool to see them them. I really liked Playmates classic Trek figures. Shame these couldn't be done in a similar style. Not to mention look half way decent.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

No pictures anywhere...cameras were verbotten at last years Trek toy reveal. Trekmovie.com or Trekweb.com had eyewitness accounts listed that mentioned this. Even Spock Prime (as hes now called) was just a TNG Spock from reunification with grey hair.

I agree with you...If they want to do 6" figures, it might have made more sense to stick with something closer to the old line.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but that is really, really bad.
I'm glad T1 posted it here, 'cause I did miss it elsewhere.
When I first saw the picture, I thought it was a joke or
a fan figure like the bad customs you see on eBay.
I'm not very hopeful about the movie, but I'm willing to wait and see.
But that figure isn't even fit to melt.

I think the movie could be pretty decent. I'm gonna give it a chance. Although no one will ever replace the original actors. WOW ! That Figure is very " crappy " looking. Whats up with nitted shirt ? I know space is cold but........

I have been a fan of Playmates for years . I collect the vintage TMNT line, and I have most of the Star trek figures. Even the Seaquest DSV figures are better than that. LOL.

Here's to Hoping that is just a poor prototype that was leaked.

                Yuck!
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

Playmates released more pictures today that show this figure with a better fitting tunic. Apparently the tunics are similar in design to Art Asylums, in that they are molded seperately and added to the figure.

So the tunic looks better....but the Kirk figure still has that silly cowlick and goofy head sculpt.
